How to start sleeping properly

Finding out how to fix your sleep schedule can be a big problem for many people. I find that it is easiest to sleep well when a normal routine is formulated. This routine has a consistent sleeping and waking up time. The most important part of the routine is letting natural effects wake you up and put you to sleep. For example this could be putting your phone away one or two hours before sleeping. This will stop you from being stimulated and increase you sleep quality. It will also allow you some time absorb the darkness of the world as the day ends. This will signal to your brain that it is night and hence time to sleep. When waking up I find it useful to have natural light when I wake up. If there is sunlight in my face then It feels as if the world is saying that it is time to wake up. Once you are able to formulate a wind down time which is in sync with the daylight cycle I am sure that you fill find it easier to sleep. I am also sure it will increase and quality and quantity of your sleep as well as make it easier to fall asleep and wake up from sleep.
