Most people know that they should be drinking a lot of water, but they don’t know why. You may know that it hydrates you and keeps you cooler but that is the most that the majority of people know about water. So why is it so important? Well because it does a variety of functions. The most important thing is it increases our efficiency in all of our tasks. Water does this by cleansing the body. It clears out all waste around the body allowing tasks to be done easier. It is like someone who cleans your room. With a clean room you can get more work done easier without all the clutter.
Water has some other ways though other than cleansing the body that it can help us. It lubricates our joints making people able to lift more weights and do more easily without resistance. Our brain is also largely comprised of water which means that when we are dehydrated our brain becomes smaller. This means that in a sense we become stupid when we don’t drink water. Our brains can’t function as well which means that we are worse off
Water has so many positive benefits that everybody should be drinking their 8 glasses a day minimum. Most people don’t make that goal or make it through drinking beverages with other items mixed in. It is important to have exactly 8 glasses of water as no other drinks will cleanse you and do as good a job at increasing your efficiency as water does.
