Many people have used markers to draw on whiteboards. Currently in classrooms this is the most common method for teaching. The markers have many colors and allow people to easily write on the whiteboard. It makes sense that they would be used. However, in all classrooms there is a severe problem with these dry erase markers. These markers dry out way too easily. In classrooms people will often use these markers and forget to put the caps back on. This causes the markers to dry out and make them unusable. People may also overuse the markers as they are useful which leads to their slow death.

I am proposing that people create cartridges for dry erase markers to fix this. People already sell lead for pencils to replace them. Ink cartridges for markers would allow teachers to replace the markers without needing to buy new ones again and again. People may not know this, but it is easy to remove the cartridge of a marker by just pulling it out. All that would need to be done then to insert a new one is push it into the hole. This solution would be simple and solve a relatively large problem for teachers and students who use markers in any aspect of their lives.
