Writing essays for English is very annoying but I have to do it. Some parts of it are slightly enjoyable and after a lot of time I have figured out some of the best tactics for writing my English essays.

During the first quarter of the school year we have been an essay about our summer reading books.. For me this book was Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. The book was about his personal life and a lot of other things that are about him and his experiences. The book was ok overall but the essay is not a fun thing to write. For the essay I have to write about how I relate to him as a person and connect it to a prompt which was given to me. I have spent a good amount of time on this essay and have wrote a very good first paragraph. I wrote most of the paragraph today. I have found that working in my own dorm usually is very inefficient. I think that this is because it is mainly a recreational space. When I want to get a large amount of work done I go to a place called in2 which is a very nice study area. I found that when working in their I work my best. I have also found that it is best if I listen to light white noise if people are talking so that I can concentrate better. If nobody is talking I find it better to just focus without the music.

By writing my English essay I have found that the most efficient way for me to work is to go to in2 and get large chunks of work done at once rather than doing it in small chunks or at different places.
