I think that people can get angry much easier than they can get happy. If you want to make someone happy it will either take time or a lot of effort. For example, you could gift someone something which would make them happy. This could be a car or some amount of money which would be sure to make them happy. Even after making them happy, they will likely forget about what happened after a little bit of time and their happiness will go away. You can also take a lot of time to get to know the person and then try to make them happy by doing some action they enjoy. An example could be playing games with them or making them some food. On the other hand, if you wanted to make someone mad you could easily do that by simply hitting them or annoying them in some way. It takes barely any effort and it also takes much less time.

I believe that since it is much easier to make someone angry if you can control people’s anger then you can control the people. Happiness is what most people would ask for in their leader. They want their leader to make them happy, but that is very expensive, would take a lot of time, and would be much less efficient overall. An amazing leader would be able to create anger in their people and control the anger. This is not a morally correct leader, but this would lead to a leader with the most control. This control would also be somewhat of the people’s free will rather than a dictatorship. The people would willingly follow the leader to their every word and the leader will be able to create whatever type of society they wish. This type of leadership would certainly be the best at controlling people but it may not be the best when taking in certain factors such as moral factors.
