Laptops and desktops are both two very powerful devices. They are also very important in today’s society. Both have their benefits and disadvantages.

Desktops can only stay in one place at a time. Although they are a stationary device, they have a lot more processing power than a laptop. This enables them to do more things. For work though, you would only need a laptop because a desktop is only needed for more powerful computation like gaming

Laptops are easily portable and accessible to people. They allow you to do the same things as a desktop, just with less power. They can’t run gaming application as well as desktops.

Overall laptops seem like the better choice, but it may also come down to personal preference. You can always hook a laptop up to a monitor. If a laptop is less powerful than a desktop then it may cost a bit more, but you can always get a more powerful laptop to match a desktops speed.
